To form a winning cluster, you will need at least 5 matching symbols (these may include wilds). The symbols need to be connected with each other horizontally and/ or vertically. In short, the symbols in the cluster must touch each other.
Payments will be issued based on the number of symbols in the cluster (the highest value should contain at least 25) plus the type of symbol that is used.
Each time you manage to form a cluster, the Tumble mechanic will be triggered. This will make the involved symbols to disappear, and the remaining ones will drop to take the empty positions. New symbols will show up to fill any empty positions.
Although the Wild symbol acts as a substitute, it can be of great help in forming a cluster, and especially if it is close to the symbols involved.
As you continue going through tumbles and forming clusters, you contribute to the meter associated with the Gold Fever feature. Once triggered, it will reward you with the free spins feature.
You will start at the lowest level (1), and continue to climb the ladder by collecting additional winning symbols. Initially, you will get a 2x multiplier, but with each new level, this will increase.

Gems Bonanza may not come across as a visually appealing slot game, but Pragmatic Play has done a tremendous job with the features, and payout potential.
The symbols include wilds, a gold door, icons of gemstones decorated in different colours like green, red, orange, purple, teal, blue, and pink.
Conclusion
Gems Bonanza slot may not be every player’s cup of tea. The slot is highly volatile, and the developer has offered a decent RTP to counter that.
Additionally, the slot has massive potential when it comes to the rewards. However, the story is quite boring and may make gaming sessions less fun.
